Enjoy hors-d’oeuvres and a drink over a leisurely 2 hours, whilst visiting the Trade Exhibition and catching up with colleagues not seen since last year.
Cost: Mixer tickets are included in the full-time registration fee. $45 per person for accompanying guests

Relax at the end of the day over cocktails and pre-dinner nibbles. The trade exhibition will be in full swing so there will be time to visit the booths and have “passports” stamped.

EARLY CAREER RESEARCHER COCKTAIL FUNCTION 19:00 – 22:00
Blundells Room – Crowne Plaza Canberra (2 minute walk from National Convention Centre) Join fellow neuroscientists in a relaxed setting for canapés and drinks to the sounds of the classical guitar. All early career researchers are welcome. Entry is free. Please bring your conference ID badge.

All students are invited to the student mixer, which commences after the official conference cocktail party.
Tickets to this function will be issued in every student registration envelope, which will include details of venue.

CONFERENCE DINNER 19:30 – 23:45
The conference dinner will be held at the prestigious New Parliament House. Pre dinner drinks will be served in the beautiful Marble Foyer and delegates will then move to the spectacular Great Hall for dinner. This will be a memorable evening with an opportunity for you to experience a unique part of Australia’s heritage. The conference has sponsored full member registrants’ (and partners) and student member registrants’ dinner tickets to the tune of $10 and $35 respectively, to make the night a little more affordable. It will be a night to remember and should not be missed.
Dress: Smart casual. Tickets are $100 per registrant/partner and should be ordered on the registration form. A discounted rate of $75 is available for Student Members only and does not extend to partners.
