The deadline for hotel reservations through the Congress Secretariat is 10 June 2006. Bookings after this date will be subject to room availability. Large blocks of rooms in hotels, motels and apartments have been secured by the Congress Secretariat to ensure best available rates. The number of rooms available in the hotel list is limited and the Congress Secretariat reserves the right to confirm a non-listed hotel, motel or apartment if the listed property is fully booked. A deposit of one night's accommodation is required to secure the reservation. This deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and will be deducted from the final account. A tax invoice will be issued by the hotel. Guests are responsible for paying the balance to the hotel on departure. Failure to arrive on the date specified will incur forfeiture of deposit. Cancellation fees will apply after 20 July 2006 .
Hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs on the day of arrival and check out at 10:00 hrs on the day of departure. Many international flights arrive in the early morning and immediate access to rooms will depend on availability. To guarantee access, the room must be booked for the previous night.
All hotels, motels and apartments have en-suite bathroom facilities. A hotel or motel is generally one room accommodating 1-2 persons with one double bed (double)or two single beds (twin). An apartment has one or two separate bedrooms normally with a double bed in the master bedroom and single bed/s in the second bedroom. The rates are for room only and do not include breakfast.
