Pre-registration for ISPMB 2006 has now closed. However, on site registrations are welcome, at the on site registration fee detailed below.

Notes

  1. In January 2005 members of the Society were advised by the ISPMB President that active memberships in 2004 would be extended to cover 2005-2006 with no dues collected. These members would be eligible to register at ISPMB 2006 at the discounted rate. No new memberships would be accepted.
  2. Students are defined as full-time students enrolled for degrees or diplomas at a University or tertiary institution and who do not hold full-time employment positions.
  3. Day registration on Wednesday 23 August includes attendance at one workshop.

Entitlements for full-time delegates

  • Access to all scientific sessions, exhibition and poster area.
  • One ticket to the welcome reception on Sunday evening.
  • Congress satchel including Final Program, CD and Book of Abstracts.

Tickets for social events and sightseeing tours should be ordered on the Congress Registration Form.

Registration Desk

The registration desk will be located in the foyer of the Adelaide Convention Centre for the duration of the Congress. The desk will be open at the following times:

Confirmation

A written copy of your receipt, acknowledgement of registration and confirmation of hotel reservations booked for you will be posted by the Congress Secretariat in early May. The final program, book of abstracts and CD of the abstracts will be included in the Congress satchel available at the registration desk on arrival.

Official Letters of Invitation

Instructions from the Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs prevent organisers of ISPMB 2006 from issuing formal letters of invitation - refer to Passport and Visa Information.

 

Payment Procedures

Payment can be processed online through our officially secured system by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Diners). Confirmation of payment will be sent by email. Payment will also be accepted by fax to the Congress Secretariat on +61 8 8362 0038. Payment by mail must be in the form of an International Bank Draft in Australian dollars. Personal cheques will only be accepted from residents of Australia and New Zealand. Australia has a Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST)of 10%. Overseas delegates are not exempt from paying this tax. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars ($AUD)and include GST.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Secretariat. Cancellations prior to 10 June 2006 will be refunded, but will incur an administration fee of A$120.00. There will be no refunds after 10 June 2006. Substitute delegates will be accepted.

In case of industrial disruption,the ISPMB and Local Organising Committee accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by participants. If, for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

Privacy Disclosure

Personal information,as defined under the national privacy legislation, The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2001, will be treated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles and only shared with related or third parties in accordance with those principles. Please complete the section of the registration form relating to privacy if you do not wish your personal information to be included in the published Participant List to be distributed to participants and exhibitors at the meeting.
